AgegePulse Magazine

The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu, goes tough on all forms of violence in the local government area as the 2019 general election draws nearer.

Dullar, as he is fondly called, stated this while addressing Somolu Political Leaders' at the Somolu Local Government Secretariat few days ago.

The LG Boss said law enforcement agencies had been made to understand that it's high time we all frown at street miscreants rudely. "Our government has been working tirelessly to re-brand Somolu and make the community to be safe for residents and visitors, yet some elements are springing up to jeopardize our efforts. We won't won't take it", Dullar said.

The Executive Chairman also used the opportunity to tell the political leaders about the Nigerian Army Recruitment exercise. "The Nigerian Army Recruitment  form is out and their officers were here, they want more youths from Somolu to join Nigerian Army. Instead of the youths to be fighting around and disturbing the community, they should go to fight Boko Haram and disturb the terrorist groups," Dullar advised.

The Executive Chairman said the community need to cooperate with Nigerian Police, Nigerian Army, NDLEA, LNSC and other law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe community for all.
