Another articulated vehicle in a lone accident with registration number AKD 537 XY was recovered earlier this morning by a LASEMA Response Team.
The covered mini truck
laden with goods, enroute Shagamu, reportedly lost control suddenly on the Otedola bridge outward Lagos and fell on its side in a lone accident.
The incident which occurred about 1:47am according to the Time of Take Off by the Response Team with an Estimated Arrival Time of 5 minutes, crossed the bridge, blocking over 80% of the road.
Resultant effects of the incident's road blockade at that early hour of the day, was a noticeable pile-up which had started snaking backwards to old Toll Gate before Mile 12 bus stop.
The noticeable traffic pile-up which would have increased tremendously with onset of the morning rush, had been nipped in the bud by timely recovery of the fallen mini-van by the LASEMA Response Team.
The less than 5 minutes response time and timely recovery was aided by the Agency's heavy duty equipment - Goliath escorted by the Ranger, was utilized for timely recovery of the truck.
LASEMA Response Team, LASTMA and RRS were all available and controlling traffic at the scene.
