Following the coming of the local government elections staged for 2021, in all Local Governments, LGAs and Local Council Development Area, LCDAs across the State, One of the golden sons of Agege, Bukola Nurudeen Sofidiya a.k.a #GIDADO, has shown his aspiration for the post of Chairman of Agege Local Government.
Gidado has floored some of his campaign, branded materials across some strategic places in Agege seeking the support of party leaders and electorates to make is dream a reality.
The visionary and learned Gidado has revealed to AgegePulse, that he will be pitching his tent under the All Progressive Congress, APC with the incumbent chairman of the Council, Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi who have yet to officially declare his intention to run for the second term having delivered some outstanding projects within the community since he assumed office.
"Though the vision is clear and tough but we are resolute to change the style of leadership in Agege".
"We don't want to make promises, but a clearer vision and plans to change the narrative and bringing good governance to our people will be revealed shortly.
Am appealing to all Agege leaders and electorates to embrace and "Think Gidado" while taking their decision". Bukola Shofidiya asserted.
