The Year 2025 Spelling Bee Competition in Orile Agege today witnessed another resounding success when, Okudalaye Faith Oluwatise from Government College, Agege
Emerged the winner of the senior category after a keen contest defeated 2nd position Jimoh Aminat from Government College Agege and 3rd position, Emmanuel Kelvin from Eko Junior College Orile Agege.

In the junior category, Olanrewaju Daniella from Methodist Nursery and Primary School, Tabon Tabon, Orile Agege emerged winner, Ajiki Module from Ladoje Nursery and Primary School, Oko Oba Orile Agege, Sunday Amarachi from Ladoje Nursery and Primary School, Oko Oba Orile Agege won 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The event gathered spellers from Orile Agege Public Schools both junior and senior categories.
AgegePulse Magazine learnt that, This year's competition is scheduled to be the preliminary stage of the Lagos state spelling bee competition for primary and secondary schools in Lagos and was held at the Taofeek Adaranijo multipurpose hall, Orile Agege.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Akinola Idowu said the competition which is a yearly program was aimed to help our school children in building their future by creating an avenue for them to compete with their counterparts from other local government in the state and to allow them to interact with others.
The 1st position in both categories would represent Orile Agege LCDA at the forthcoming State Spelling Bee Competition later this year.
Winners were presented with worthy Educational Gifts .
Dr. Adesanya Orekoya, Council's Manager, Hon. Shola Akinbile councillor ward B, Hon. Olagoke Waheed councillor ward A, among the dignitaries that graced the occasion.
