The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the ideals of the City Boy Movement and pledged his unalloyed loyalty to the re-election of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

AKOD made the declaration during the inauguration of the Lagos State Chapter of the City Boy Movement, held on Tuesday in Lagos, where political leaders, traditional rulers, local government chairmen, youth leaders, and APC faithful gathered to launch the movement's statewide structure.

The event underscored the movement's commitment to mobilising youths and grassroots supporters across Lagos State in support of President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and his anticipated re-election bid in 2027.

Among the dignitaries present were Amir Kashim Shettima (Jnr.), son of the Vice President of Nigeria and Co-Patron of the movement; Moremi Ojudu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement; Barrister Oluwaseyi Tinubu, Founder of the City Boy Movement, represented by the National Secretary, Tosin Odufuwa Hon. Abdullahi Tanko Yakassai, SSA to the President on Community Engagement (North-West); and other APC leaders.

AKOD, who joined fellow local government chairmen and party leaders at the event, commended the leadership of the City Boy Movement for creating a platform that inspires youth participation, grassroots mobilisation, and sustained support for the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He reiterated his commitment to working with stakeholders across Lagos State to ensure the continued success of the APC and the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while supporting all APC candidates seeking elective offices in the forthcoming elections.
