New York based fashion entrepreneur returns to Nigeria to launch the first phase of “www.MadeinNigeria.org” An eccomerce platform for products made in Nigeria




Naomi Alabi “The return of individuals from the African Diaspora to invest especially Nigerian Americans could be one of the keys to empowering Nigeria’s economy.”



Lagos, Nigeria, January 31, 2019 —- A US-based entrepreneur, Naomi Alabi is calling on all Africans at home and abroad to support “www.MadeinNigeria.org” A new ecommerce platform that sells products made in Nigeria.



 This is to further promote the “buy Nigeria to grow the Naira” initiative launched in 2016. Naomi Alabi is strategically launching the “Made in Nigeria” platform in three phases. The first is a database building and exhitibition phase launching in the form of a convention taking place on February 9th, 2019.

 This convention will also feature panel discussions from credible members of the entrepreurship empowerment community. Organizations with a powerful platform to garner credible support for the www.MadeinNigeria.org initiative. The February 9th, 2019 convention will exhibit products from over fifty (50) merchants.

 Naomi Alabi’s goal is to then promote these brands internationally and in Nigeria via the www.madeinnigeria.org platform. Naomi Alabi addresses some of the challenges experienced by outsiders looking to do business in Nigeria. “It’s tough because people don’t view you as a permanent part of their community so they’re less prone to share their resources.

I am playing the long term game so hopefully overtime I can gain more supporters and advocate to join me in promoting www.madeinnigeria.org.

According to Dave Thomas, the founder of the American fast-food chain called Wendy’s.
