Tyson Fury recorded an emphatic eighth round stoppage over Deontay Wilder as he became the new WBC champion.

The Gypsy King dominated the match which saw the Bonze Bomber struggle after bleeding from his ears and mouth. He was also knocked down twice in the bout.
Wilder's corner had to throw in the towel as Fury became the WBC champion and remain undefeated.
The first round was evenly contested as both fighters showed the stuff they were made of. Wilder gave a big right hand in the opening exchanges but Fury also made some connecting jabs.
Wilder threw a couple of big right hands while Fury was consistent with the jabs but the American seemed to have slightly won the second round.
The opening exchanges of the third saw Fury land a big right hand on Wilder as the WBC champion went down on the canvass. Wilder was saved by the bell as his had wobbly legs.
Wilder's legs were still wobbly in the fourth round as Fury came out more on the attack in the fourth round. The Brit won the round again.
And early attack in the fifth round from Fury caught Wilder as the champion was trying to stay in the match but he was knocked down again for the second time. Fury tried to finish it off but the round ended with a point deducted from the Englishman.
The Gypsy King was looking for the finish in the sixth as Wilder continued to struggle with a bleeding left ear and mouth. Fury convincingly won the round again.
Wilder's corner threw in the towel in the eighth round as he found it hard to recover in the match and Fury was hoisted following the victory.
