The Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Alh Abdul-Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi, has commissioned borehole at Agege main market located at Market Street in Isale Oja area.
The borehole was donated by the council alongside a generator set to power it, with ten others under construction across the seven wards of the local government.
Egunjobi while reiterating his commitment to the community development, said he has a lot in store for the people of the area, adding that the project is indeed a tip of the ice bag.
Prior to the commissioning, the Council chief met with all stakeholders in the market where he urged them to be law abiding, cultivate maintenance culture and ensure the borehole is well maintained.
Other boreholes ready for commissioning, include those located at Ago Ebirah, Adewole Street, Ajakaye street, Atobaje street, Adenle street, Otubu street, Railway line among others.
In attendance at the occasion are: Secretary to the Local Government, Mr Gbenga Abiola; Council Treasurer and other management staff; Leader of the House, Mr Muyideen Anigbajumo and other councillors; Supervisor for Works, Mr Sola Osholana among others.
