Lagos State Begins E-Registration for 2025 Model Colleges, Upgraded JSS Entrance Exams

The Lagos State Government has commenced the electronic registration (e-Registration) process for the Year 2025 Entrance Examination (Screening Test) for Primary 6 pupils seeking admission into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.

The Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, confirmed that the e-Registration will run from Thursday, 6th February, to Friday, 16th May, 2025. He further announced that the Screening Test will be conducted exclusively through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from Wednesday, 28th May, to Friday, 30th May, 2025, at various designated CBT centers across the state.

Mr. Orunsolu emphasized that qualified pupils from both public and private schools are required to pay a sum of ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) for the application. He also provided details on the registration process, stating, “The registration of prospective applicants will be done via the Examinations Board Portal at https://pay.examboard.com.ng/model/payment/login.”

While reaffirming that the Screening Test remains the sole requirement for admission into JSS1 in any of the state’s Model Colleges, Orunsolu encouraged prospective candidates and their guardians to visit the Lagos State Examinations Board Head Office at 254, Ipaja Road, near the NYSC Orientation Camp, Agege, for further inquiries.

The Lagos State Government continues to emphasize the importance of a seamless and transparent admission process, ensuring that all qualified candidates have equal opportunities to gain admission into its prestigious Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
