AACMAP emphasizes the need for increased community engagement and proactive measures to create safer neighborhoods. Their advocacy highlights several key areas for improvement:

Strengthening Community Policing: AACMAP advocates for enhanced collaboration between the local police force and community members. This includes more regular interaction and joint initiatives to build trust and address specific local concerns.

Enhancing Public Awareness: The organization is pushing for more robust public education campaigns on crime prevention. This involves disseminating information through local media channels about safety practices, reporting mechanisms, and available resources.

Investment in Infrastructure: Improving street lighting and installing security cameras in high-risk areas are among the recommendations. Better infrastructure is seen as a crucial factor in deterring criminal activities and increasing public safety.
