The Parents Forum and Alumni Association of Sango Senior Secondary School,Agege; have blamed the attitude of some students for portraying the image of the school in bad light and backed the disciplined Principal, Mr Okunola Moruf.

In a recent viral video, some students were seen dancing to a music and chanting what some members of the public claimed  to be that of cultists.

The Viral Video threw the image of the school to mud and faulted the efforts of the School Principal, Okunola, popular called Officer Mufu.

The Principal was said to be hardworking, disciplined and leading by example.

According to the investigation carried out HOTNEWSNAIJA ONLINE, Officer  Mufu has been the engine driving the school to greatness considering how he has reposition the school.

In the words of one S.S 3 student, " Our Principal has been the symbol of hope to all of us. He encourages us to read and be good children.

" Through his personal efforts, he organizes Morning and Evening classes for us to learn more apart from our usual learning hours. He is God- sent to all the students. From 6:30am to 6 pm, Mondays to Saturday, he is a good leader and teacher.

On the same vein, Chief (Mrs) Duroshola Olajumoke , the Chairperson of Parents Forum of Sango Senior Secondary School, said the principal is a hardworking and disciplined man.

She said, " Mr Okunola (the principal) is a very hardworking principal and disciplinarian. He is highly respected and  doesn't take nonsense from any student. The ugly incident was a bad stain on his personality and good leadership.

"On that fateful day, I was also in the school as they had a Cultural Day. After the programme, S.S 3  students still had their examination on that day. We don't know how the issue of dancing occured. But we (parents) are on top of the situation and we won't stop in talking to our children.

"On behalf of all parents, I can say it anywhere that the principal is a good man in all ramifications. And we want the principal back to the school.

Meanwhile, one of the Old students of the School who had passed through "Officer Mufu", Mr Lawal Ibraheem Okanlawon said the incident was unfortunate. He described the school principal as a dutiful and hardworking teacher.

"What happened in the school was an eyesore to the personality of the Alumni and that of the principal. Because the principal is an administrator per excellence. He was once a teacher in that school, vice principal before being elevated to be the principal. I was sad about the incident and  all stakeholders are doing something already.

" The parents, teachers, government and other critical stakeholders are working to be engaging with the students, " he said.

While Ministry of Education and Education District are investigating the matter, the parents and community are routing for Officer Mufu to come back as the Principal of Sango Senior Secondary school, Agege.
