Egunjobi condoles with Late Ambassador Tunde Alao’s family
Alh. Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi has commiserated with the Alao’s family on the death of ex-Sole Administrator of Apapa Local Government Area of Lagos State, Alh. Babatunde Lukman Alao, aka Ambassador Tunde Alao, who died early hours of Thursday.
Late Alao was a progressive and at one time or another member of SDP, AD, AC, ACN (all defunct), and the All Progressive Congress, APC. He was Personal Assistant to former Lagos Commissioner for Agriculture & Cooperatives, Chief Enoch Ajiboso, while the latter was the Executive Chairman, Agege Local Government.
The deceased, who was once APC’s Legal Officer in Agege, at a period was current Lagos Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Dr. Samuel Adejare’s aide, and until his demise, the Agege Coordinator of Senator Solomon Adeola re-election campaign.
In a condolence message to the bereaved family, Egunjobi affirmed that Late Alao, who was well respected among the progressives for his forthrightness would long be remembered for his service to Agege in several roles.
“I am sorry to hear of Ambassador Alao’s death and on behalf of the good people of Agege, and management and staff of the Council, I express our most sincere sympathies to you, his family, during this difficult time. He was highly valuable by APC members and served the party in various capacities.
“He will greatly be missed. Please know that our prayers and thoughts are with him and you, his family and friends,” the Council boss wrote.
Late Alao was survived by his widow, four children: three daughters and a son.
