The name of Hon. Kolawole Anigbajumo has turned to a household name when it comes to giving back to the community,

As a Tailor and Leader of Agege Local Government Legislative Arm, the reward for  service to God and humanity have earned him an award by Future Matters Concepts, FMC  in a program organized for outgoing secondary School students, in Agege tagged "Beyond Secondary Education, What Next" 8.0.


He was honoured in an event held yesterday at Dami Event Centre, Agege for his commitment and passion in empowering youths.

According to the Convener, Walex Adeleye said that, the award was conferred on him over his contributions and passion towards the brighter future of young people in Agege.

Recall, Anigbajumo was a teacher/instructor at Agege Local Government Vocational centre in 2006 with a stipends aiming at imparting knowledge to young ones.

In a remark, Anigbajumo narrated his life story as a successful tailor and now a legislator.

"The tailoring job has help me to achieve my desired tertiary education which has placed me where I am today, as the Leader and No.3 man in the recent administration in Agege.
Though it's God doing and I give thanks to the Almighty".

He urged all the participating students to always focus on their studies and imbibe the culture of acquiring a vocational skill while growing up in life.

while receiving  the award, "I thanked the initiative of FMC for organizing such laudable program, I once again dedicated this Award to students as they are the brighter and shining stars of tomorrow". Anigbajumo concluded.

"Today, we recognised and honoured SP Celestina Kalu, DPO, Ogudu Police Station who exhibited exemplary conduct by coming to the rescue of a young man Friday Ojabor, who was a victim of armed robbery.

Friday Ojabor was shot in the abdomen and the police from Ogudu Police Station on getting the distress call promptly rushed to the scene. They took him to several hospitals who couldn't handle the severity of his injuries before taking him to LASUTH.

At LASUTH, SP Celestina Kalu stood as his surety, covered all the expenses and offered to donate blood during the surgical procedure.

Her magnanimous attitude saved the life of an innocent young man.

We must not lose sight the important message the worthy conduct of SP Kalu is teaching us; and that is for us to be our brother's keeper. We must not turn our eyes from those in distress who need the next moment to stay alive.

We are inspired by this amazing and courageous woman. Her character, exemplary attitude and compassion will go a long way in restoring our faith in the Nigerian Police and humanity in general.

TRANSSAFE Global Initiatives Honours CSP Yinka Egbeyemi

The Chairman of  Lagos Taskforce, CSP Saheed Yinka Egbeyemi was honoured yesterday by TRANSSAFE 360 Global Initiatives   during the safety Agency Annual General Meeting held at LASTMA's Headquarters, Oshodi area of Lagos.

CDHR Honours CSP Yinka Egbeyemi

Committee For Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), Lagos Chapter has recently hnoured Chairman, Lagos State Taskforce, CSP Olayinka Saheed Egbeyemi.

Egbeyemi who was honoured with an Award of Excellence Services to Humanity and his contributions towards creating effective security and protecting lives and properties in the society.

The Chairman, Lagos Taskforce shared this feat on his social media platforms

He received the Award with joy and said "I Dedicated this to all those born and bred in the Ghetto but  shy away from Crime regardless of their predicament'.
