This move was brought to limelight when Babajide Sanwo-Olu deployed free WiFi in some designated areas around the state today.
Sanwo-Olu disclosed this on is social media platforms and it reads:

We understand the importance of the internet to Lagosians living their lives everyday. Access to the internet helps us in so many ways
That's why we're deploying free WiFi in designated areas around the state".
