To whom much is giving, much is expected could well be used to describe the current gesture of Elephant Club of Ogba as she unequivocally extend words of appreciation to sponsors, supporters and well wishers who made the 20th anniversary of the club a success.
In a statement made available to Agege Pulse Magazine by the Publicity Unit of the club, it was stated that save for the enormous supports received from individuals, groups, and corporate organizations, the aims and objectives designed for the 20th anniversary would have been a mirage.
The statement reads in pairs: "It is not by our might neither our power but with the grace of Almighty God for a fulfilled 20th anniversary.
We sincerely appreciate all our supporters and sponsors ranging from Cormat Nig. PLC, Winners Golden Bet, Crycat, Nigeria Army, Nigeria Police Force, Bountiful Foundation and Agege pulse magazine.
It is our privilege also to say thank you to all individuals that supported us with cash and kind. They include Our Patrons, Hon.Yinka Ogundimu, Hon. Jubreel Abdulkareem and Mr Wole Ogunlolu.
Our Matrons, Chief Mrs Kehinde Orejoko and Chief Mrs Khadijat Adeyemi. Our Advisers, Hon Richard Oshungboye and Alhaji Sulaiman Adekunle Malaika
Our appreciation will be void and null if we failed to mention our pride and great Ambassadors, who have gotten breakthrough in their respective endeavours.
