TGPS, Dr Yinka Ayandele Extols Gov Ambode Over Investment In Education

As the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode led administration continues to invest massively in education, the Permanent Secretary and Tutor General of Lagos Education District One, Dr. Yinka Ayandele has extolled the good gesture of the governor.



This is coming after the state government recently honoured and awarded 326 outstanding students and 54 teachers, principals and trainers of Education District 1 for their victorious performances in the year 2017.

The students were subsequently inaugurated as pioneer members of the Democratic Corps Initiative - a brain child of Dr Ayandele to encourage and motivate students towards excellent performance.



Dr Ayandele in her appreciation message,  congratulated the victorious students, principals, teachers and trainers for raising the bar of performance beyond expectations in 2017 adding that their exceptional performances placed the district above all in both curricula and co-curricular activities last year.

Also,  she expressed gratitude to Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode and his team for providing conducive environment for the students, teachers and principals to thrive through the all-round education package provided by the state government.

The statement reads: "Congratulations to all the 326 students, 52 teachers, principals, and trainers who nurtured our victorious students all through the year 2017. You are all wonderful people. We appreciate the commitment, focus and dedication exhibited in the course of bringing glory to Education District I. May you continue to prosper in all your endeavours.

Also, our unalloyed appreciation goes to the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule and other stakeholders whose ingenuity created conducive working and learning environment for us in the education sector. No doubt, Eko ntesiwaju. Thank You."
