“It is heartwarming that Agege is now ranking among top cities in Lagos and Nigeria at large with the rate of developments going on in the community. We promise that we will commission more roads in Agege very soon which will bring total transformation to the area.

HUMAN INTEREST Woman who fled after being caught in same-sex act, declared wanted
AgegePulse Magazine
A lady, Busayo Diyaolu (pictured above), has fled Ibadan, the Oyo State capital where hitherto she resided after she was caught having sex with her partner, a female too, simply identified as Mildred Akpan.
The pair, according to multiple reports, have been in the unholy act underground for sometime, alternating between their residences located at Iyaganku area of Ibadan, and hotels.
But the lid on the hushed tryst and the partners’ membership of LGBTQ were blown away sometimes in 2015 at Bolaji Idowu, Busayo’s ex-fiance’s parents’ house.
The fugitive had visited Bolaji in company with Mildred.
Busayo and Mildred retreated to a room in the house, and thinking they had escaped the prying eyes of their host, but unknown to them he was within the earshot of sex sounds coming out of the place, Bolaji said in an interview he granted newsmen.
“I rushed down to the room, forced the door opened and what greeted my eyes befuddled me to the point that i was rooted to the spot.
In my mind i thought of raising the alarm and called my parents but the woman at the centre of this unholy practice was my future wife.
“I managed to leave the scene. Ever since, the centre could not hold between us because whenever the thought of that incident raced through my mind I felt a strong dislike for her.
I was also torn between coming out of the closet to reveal that my future wife is bisexual or remain silent forever, until I now found the courage,” he narrated.
Recall that Milfred was arrested and convicted of the crime and it remains to be seen how Busayo escaped justice.
Following her unknown whereabouts, the police authorities declared the fugitive wanted in a statement released wherein handsome rewards was promised to anyone with useful information that would lead to her apprehension.
Same sex relationship is against Nigerian laws and attracts 14 years imprisonment upon conviction. Christianity and Islam are the most popular religions in the West Africa’s nation, and adherents of the faiths in the country detest homosexuality and it is in their culture to mete out jungle justice to gay and lesbian people.
